The Day I Killed-Personal Narrative
After many restless nights, I have come to the conclusion that I was going to kill someone again and I was going to do it tonight. I started my preparation for my escapade. You may have noticed I said again and yes, I have killed before. The person I last murdered was a man in his late 40s I didn’t have any reason just felt like it. I didn’t have any set target tonight I will see what I come across tonight.
I parked my car and walked through town late at night it wasn’t a very warm and friendly place at this time. I saw many bums doing their business which was being lowlifes with no ambition. Even though I kill people atleast I make a living for myself they have no excuse. They can kill people then rob them simple money. I figured a bum wasn’t

I was going to get coffee and maybe some late-night breakfast. I walked in and took my seat on the opposite side of this couple. I felt the intensity in the air kind of like how it feels like when I’m in a room with my victim. They were arguing over another woman possibly. The man spoke sternly “You need to stop being so hostile towards her. If I liked her I wouldn’t be here with you now I would be with her.” She stirred her coffee lightly and broke down crying “We have such a good life and you are throwing it away over that tramp. I know the truth you don’t have to keep lying to my face.” I asked fro the bill by now because I could see where this was going. I paid my bill and waited for the moment. “You know what maybe if you weren’t so depressing to be around I wouldn’t be looking for another woman’s attention.” The woman stormed out this was my time to shine I got up a few seconds after she was out of sight so it didn’t look too sketchy. The man sighed and we made eye contact I threw him a carton of smokes he looked at me confused and smiled. “Woman are a mess huh?” I said while quickly leaving the diner. He didn’t have time to answer but he was more concerned with his free smokes

The article “Serial Killers” by C.B Holmberg expresses his perspective by describing peculiar psychological characteristics that might allure the perpetrator. The connotation of a serial killer in simple words means a murderer who kills at least three victims over a period of time with a break in the time frame between homicides. The agitating factor that seems to bother several people is the fact that serial killers live among us in society. Consequentially the killer emerges as normal usually quiet, reserved has a standard job and is neutrally attractive to the eye. A stereotypical serial killer would be illustrated as dirty and antagonizing someone that might come with a hatchet just for the heck of it. In other words, a killer with rappy eyes usually he or she has rough hands and is strongly capable of handling situations mentally and physically. Holmberg’s article “Serial Killers” informs readers about the certain features that might fascinate a killer in pursuing the victim, he explains possible ways to identify the killer in the blink of an…

“We all stray from time to time….and when you do, OWN IT! If you deny it….you are giving up control again.” This can teach a lesson to people struggling with drugs and alcohol. If you deny that you have a problem, you will continue to let these things control your life, but if you own up to it, you can help yourself or get help from others. The quote, from the “I don’t know the Bible…” paragraph, “‘Well done, my good and faithful servant,”’ reflects what I believe in and what I have learned. Growing up I heard many people tell me, “God first, others second, and yourself last.” First of all, these two quotes are telling me to live a faithful life by putting God first. Also, to put others before me and serve them just like Jesus did.…

The dark of night lay subdued upon me like a stifling blanket, hindering my escape. Running beneath the twinkling of stars, I checked my pocket for the security of my blade. I grasped the handle with a sense of dependence for the cold rigid grip. After running for some time, I found myself near a soldier in a wheat field. Without hesitation, I delivered the soldier to death, beginning my mission. Observing his eyes rolling into his head, his jaw relaxing, his chest resting upon the dirt, and the smell of fresh blood—ha!—I knew I would never turn back. After I had committed my first murder, I became heavily devoted to killing with a bitter taste of sweetness for my homicide tallies. After I had killed my first soldier, I knew to depart far from the scene.…

March 24, 2011 was a cold, bitter day. I had sat in my chair in front of the glass, slider, door peaking out to the house across the river that had haunted me for years. I could just make out the shadow of the young man who had frightened me throughout my childhood. The house held a cold glaze and it's horrifying characteristics seemed to escape from the windows of the house. I had planned this day over and over for three years. Everyday I'd think, and I'd think, and I'd think, about every movement of my plan to execute the man that took my life. I had boated down the river about a quarter of a mile so I could come to the house through the back of the woods. Gun in hand I stepped out of the boat and began my trek through the woods.…

I awaken in the middle of the night, and the significance of my actions just hours before hit me full force, though it feels like a lifetime ago that it happened. My first murder, the very thing that had so repulsed me upon my meeting with Zaroff just four days prior. The man was a psychopathic and homicidal bedlamite. He was the predator, and I, his quarry. His game of hunting men was considered only sport to him, whilst I held the belief that this manslaughter was senseless. Now, here I lay, with his blood-soaked, decomposing cadaver at the foot of his (now my own) feather bed. Why is this so hard for me to comprehend? I have seen the atrocities of war, with fighting in the French ditches and even the front line of battle and have seen the prospects of nearly inevitable death while hunting monstrous beasts in exotic locales. Murder is no mystery to a man like myself, for I have seen it myself so many times. This man was one who hunted perceived troglodytes and “scum of the earth,” when in actuality they were as human as I. I did the world a favor by ridding it of this barbarous and callous perpetrator. But then again, perhaps this act of merciless killing…
