There was a group of kids, Alex, Lilly, Jasmine, Roy, and Jonathan on Halloween night who were walking around the neighborhood. “I have a great idea, since ally lost the bet we should make her go into the Chester's house,” Alex said as he spun around, and all 5 of them stopped in their tracks and said, “Are you out of your mind, nobody goes in that house and nobody ever will.”
“You guys are a bunch of babies come on”, as Alex walked up to the front porch of the house. When the 5 of the stepped onto the porch

“I think it would be a good idea if we all spread out and look, i mean this is probably just a prank did you forget it was Halloween?” So that’s exactly what they did but as Jasmine was walking around the upstairs she began to hear clawing. “Hello, is anyone up here,” she said, no response. As she walked down the long hallway of bedrooms, the clawing got louder and louder, she went to call Alex on her phone, he was supposed to be searching the other side of the upstairs “Are you kidding me, no service….Alex, Alex?”
Jasmine freaked out automatically but she knew she had to keep looking for a way out of the house, so she walked over to the room with the clawing and right as she grabbed the silver doorknob it stopped it was dead silent in the house. Jasmine walked into the room anyway to see what was making that horrific sound, but she didn’t find a single thing there was not one object in the room there wasn’t even scratching marks.”What? I don’t understand what’s going on!?” As jasmine went to walk out of the room very confused she heard more scratching and she looked around and noticed a little string hanging from the

Modern Halloween has become less literal about ghosts and ghouls and more about costumes and candy. The holiday is overflowing with action on its reserved night. Kids are so anxious to drag their parents out the door, show off their creative costumes, and ring their first doorbell for a fun-filled night of trick-or-treating as soon as the dismissal bell for school rings. High school students wait until the whole group of friends is together before they head out into the misty darkness with only the flickering street light to guide them. Meanwhile, adults are sipping on their witches brew at a local party or nightclub.…

With the barrel of her musket propped firmly on the limb of a tree, Charity took steady aim at the deer. The medium-sized buck was grazing at the edge of a thicket of wax myrtles, near where she saw the deer tracks the day before. John and Uriah were squatting in the bushes behind her. She had brought them along to help with the bleeding out of the deer, should she kill one, and to help carry it back to camp. They could then dress it out and help her prepare the meat for making jerky and so forth. She also hoped to can some of the meat so that it would last a lot longer. She was glad that Nancy had shown her how and taught her how to preserve food in glass jars- it was much better than having to dry it all into tough leather strips… Taking careful aim, Charity squeezed the trigger, while saying a quick prayer that the bullet would hit its mark. She was worried that she wasn't close enough to the deer, but if she had tried to get any closer, it would have seen her and ran off into the woods.…

Slowly, I began seeing carved pumpkins, skeletons, and ghosts. It was time for Halloween. Hannah le Noir approached me with a gleam in her eyes and I knew she had a plan. “Let’s make our own costumes!” she blurted out. I questioned her by stating that we could just buy one from Walmart. “No no no no no—if we just buy it, then it would not be as meaningful. I want to create my own possessions and with the hard work I put in, something great will surely emerge,” she strongly replied. On October 31st, we were ready to trick or treat in our homemade red riding hood costumes. For every knock and every door bell rung, we were answered by a handful of candy. After we had a basketful of sweets, Hannah gave half of the candy she collected to her younger brother. Not only does Hannah le Noir passionately pursues building crafts, but she also possesses the kindest and most accepting heart one could have.…

The police reassured her and told her she might be hallucinating because she was home alone. The police then decided to leave. After they had left, Anna found herself standing as still as a statue with her mouth gaping open behind the sofa where she had been standing when she saw the masked serial killer outside. There was a knife and blood on the floor. Anna felt her neck, tiny droplets of blood was falling from her neck. The masked serial killer had not been outside the house. It turns out she had been looking at the reflection of the masked guy as he was standing behind her…inside the house. She carried her dog and ran to the phone again, only this time the phone lines and cords had been ripped, breaking her connection to the police and her parents. Anna was really scared now. She slowly headed upstairs and looked through all the rooms on the upstairs floor. There was no one to be found in any of the rooms. She told herself that it was going to be okay, that her parents will be home soon. She looked at the clock, it was 11’o’clock…
