The Best Job in the World
Introduction
In your opinion what is the best job in the world?

I recently read an article by the Financial Times journalist Lucy Kellaway.
Lucy described meeting an acquaintance who had gone from being a marketing director on £200k per year to a postman earning £20k per year.
The part time postman described his new job s much healthier that his previous one.
He walked 4 miles a day
And when he went home @ 1pm every day , he did not have to give work another taught until 7.30 the next morning
In his old job, worries from the office took up permanent residence in his head……..
In his opinion ,the only good things about being a senior manager are status and money and If you ignore those
Then being a postman really was a much nicer way of passing the time.

If you type ‘The best jobs in the world’ into Google
You will find an overwhelming amount of subjective opinions
A few caught my attention, such as

*Last year a Bed manufacturer employed a Student from Birmingham city University to sleep in their range of luxury beds
Every night for a month and update a Blog on her experiences.
The student was paid £1,ooo a month.

*First Choice holidays employ a water resort tester.
He travels 27k miles a year
Testing holiday resort water slides for
Height
Speed
Water quality
And safety

*The one that really caught my attention was an add for a Caretaker in Australia.
In February 2009, an AD for a caretaker was placed in the recruitment section of newspapers in Europe , Russia the United States and China
With the heading
‘ Beautiful one day , Perfect the next’
The ad attracted worldwide attention
It was a PR stunt offering the chance to be caretaker of a tiny tropical Island in Australia and part of campaign by Queensland Tourism to publicise the charms of the Great Barrier Reef

The successful candidate will have to go scuba diving, snorkeling and hiking

Applicants did not require any skills, or experience, and there is no age

High parental expectations: were put on him: “the ambition to succeed was instilled in me.” Having idealised his family (a “fine” one), he followed what they told and showed him, and from early age, worked in all his spare time, after school and during vacations as he took on his parents’ motto, “Keep busy; always have something constructive to do.” This continued in adult age when he kept busy and endeavouring to go up the ladder of professional success. Through his hard working he became director of a large bank. As his family was quite community-oriented, so was he, and he also became director of several civic organisations.…

Despite of his Ph. D. in political philosophy, he found that the former two jobs he held made him to 'reason backwards', working against the nature of humanity at times, in order to fit quotas and arrangements called for the job and the higher managements of the system. Such values had lessened his free will of thinking, but to mindlessly repeat tasks at hand without deep thought and reasoning, as it was more beneficial for the corporate, but for an exchange of sanity from individuals. Upon realizing the trend from his coworkers and the environment of the field, he decided to take off the office job to find and continue his love for personal work on motorcycles as a…
