The Assassination of Jfk and His Accomplishments While He Was in Office
The Assassination of JFK and his Accomplishments while he was in Office.

The assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy remains a mystery to this day. Some argue that there is more than one shooter, I personally agree with this theory. Although his presidency was very short, he made great strides in giving the people what he promised. He most likely would have helped America in more ways than one and it would have been great to have seen what he would have accomplished. John Fitzgerald Kennedy was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas at the Daeley Plaza. On November 24, 1963 a man named Jack Ruby shot and killed Oswald while Oswald was being transported to another jail. Oswald was the only known person who could have provided sufficient information about the assassination and he was now eliminated from the investigation. When Kennedy was shot he was barely past his first thousand days in office. He was the youngest man elected President and he was the youngest to die (National, 2008). Kennedy joined the navy shortly after he graduated from Harvard University. When he returned home he received medals for the Navy and Marine Corps. for his leadership and bravery. After having two severe back surgeries he wrote a book called Profiles in Courage. In 1957 his book won the Pulitzer Prize for the best biography. Before being elected as President of JFK 2 the United States Kennedy ran for congress in 1946 for the Massachusetts’ eleventh congressional district and he was successful in this election. He served three terms in the House of Representatives despite the fact that he was a democrat. In 1952 he was elected to the U.S. Senate. On July 13, 1960 he was nominated to run for presidency by his party. In the election of 1960 Kennedy defeated his opponent, Richard Nixon. It was a close race and Kennedy won only by a small margin (National, 2008).
In his Inaugural Address Kennedy put forth the lasting proposal “Ask not what

Through ballistics research and forensics experts who studied JFK’s body and other experts at the crime scene conclude that, “nearly the whole bullet found on Governer Conally’s stretcher at Parkland memorial and the two bullet fragments found in the front seat of the presedential limousine were fired from the 6.5-millimeter Mannlicher Carcano found on the sixth floor of the depository building”. This was stated from the Warren Report, a report on the conclusion of all the findings of the crime. This evidence supports the fact that Lee Harvey had shot JFK because he owned and was in possession of a 6.50millimeter Carcano rifle. This is evident through the documentation of a mail order for the same rifle used for the assassination, advertised in an issue of American Rifleman. His prints were also found on the rifle, reinforcing he was in possession of it. More supporting evidence was the finding of the rifle partially hidden in a brown bag, in the same room Oswald was in at the time of the assassination. All this evidence clearly shows Lee owned and was in possession of the murder weapon.…

Kennedy was popular as to becoming the presidential candidate. This event of the assassination was one of the most shocking events in 1968 as Robert F. Kennedy was just gaining momentum to follow his brother, John, in the White House. The assassination of Robert F. On November 22nd, 1963, President John F. Kennedy (JFK) was shot and killed in a motorcade running through Dealy Plaza, in Dallas, Texas. Shortly after, a man by the name of Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested and charged with the murder of President Kennedy. Over the years there has been much controversy over if Lee Harvey Oswald was in fact, the only man involved in the assassination of JFK. The assassination is still a topic of debate to this day and has spawned many conspiracy theories. At the time, there was little persuasive evidence to prove that Oswald was involved in any sort of conspiracy to assassinate the president, but as time went on people began to grow suspicious of certain things. In 1966, Mark Lane was one of the first to introduce the idea that Oswald did not act alone with the publication of his book Rush to Judgment. Now today, 75% of people believe Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone[1], 70% of respondents believed that the assassination involved more than one person[2]. Also 66% of Americans believe that there was a conspiracy, while 74% believed that there was a cover up[3]. It is inevitable that there is much confusion as to who was involved in the assassination of President Kennedy, but I firmly believe that there is indisputable evidence that shows that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone in the assassination.…

Another theory is badge man. Badge Man is the name given to a photographic image that some researchers into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy argue is possible evidence of an unidentified shooter on the grassy knoll in Dealy Plaza, in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. He is named Badge Man because the image shows what Mack interpreted as a uniformed police officer standing behind a wall, and wearing dark clothing with a police badge on his chest, with his face covered by smoke from having just discharged…

Since November 23, 1963, the day after President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated, there have been speculations as to the happenings of November 22, 1963. Along with the Warren Commission, there are hundreds of conspiracies and theories attempting to explain the assassination of Kennedy. Many people agree with the Warren Commission in that Lee Harvey Oswald acted as the lone gunman, while others maintain that another gunman was involved. Because of extensive evidence, I believe that Oswald did not act alone on November 22, 1963 in the assassination of Kennedy. The additional gunman was strategically placed in the grassy knoll area, in order to shoot at Kennedy from a frontal view (Rubinstein 4).…

His life was put to an end by a resentful man, who decided to shoot him from afar. A recording of the assassination exists to this day, and the shock ripples through the waters of history. Bill O’Rielly and Martin Dugard cover the struggles in the presidency and personal life during the shortened life of the 35rd President of the United States of America, John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The book, published in 2012, thoroughly discusses the controversial events leading up to the murder of JFK and in a similar timeline, the events throughout the bizarre and twisted life of JFK’s alleged assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. The book displays how influential the presidency of John F. Kennedy was to the American people, and to the world. As one of the most influential and important First Ladies in the United States of America in history, Jacqueline Kennedy’s time in the White House was also critical to the development and success of John F. Kennedy’s political leadership in his time as a politician and as the president which is also discussed in the book. As time elapses throughout the 1950’s to the 1960’s, the reader receives further insight of John F. Kennedy and those most relative to his legacy, whether that means being a wife, brother, child, mistress, or murderer.…

Anthony Summers is the author of The Kennedy Conspiracy. He believes that Kennedy was killed by a group of anti-Castro activists, funded by Mafia mobsters that had been ousted from Cuba. Summers believes that some members of the CIA took part in this conspiracy. In his book, JFK: The Second Plot (1992), Matthew Smith points out that Thomas H. Killam, a man who worked for Jack Ruby, claimed that there was a link between his former employer, Lee Harvey Oswald and the Mafia. He told his brother, "I am a dead man, but I have run as far as I am running." Killam was found dead in an alley with his throat cut in March, 1964.…
