The 22 Departments: The Department Of Homeland Security
The Department of Homeland Security is properly setup to deter terrorism, the function of the 22 departments each fulfil a particular need. The 16 agencies of the intelligence community functions under the office of the Director of National Intelligence, the current setup of the agencies allows intelligence to maintain it consistency throughout. Since 9/11 the antiterrorism policy has had a positive impact on maintaining the safety of the United States.
