There are three objectives that are followed to conduct an HOSA meeting. The first objective is “Explain how to plan a meeting and develop the order of business. That simply means you take the time to plan out and sequence what you are going to do in the meeting. This objective helps you to understand why meetings are planned and how are they planned. There are many steps that you take when trying to understand both. When you say order of business that means an agenda or sequence. For example calling to order, minutes from the last meeting…etc.…

For this discussion, I thought I would look at any studies I could find regarding the diet “supplement” called Sensa. I’ve heard advertisements about it, but I didn’t know what it was. At first I thought it was a drug, which is why I selected it for this discussion posting. After further reading, I found it would be classified more as a supplement or food item; however, what I learned was so interesting I continued with the subject for this posting. I learned that it is a “flavor enhancer” that one sprinkles on one’s food. The creator of the supplement, Alan Hirsch, MD, is a psychiatrist who was studying the effect of the senses on diet. The idea is that the sprinkles enhance the flavor and smell of your food, so that you feel satisfied and don’t overeat. After researching it, I decided to discuss the one study I could find related to this supplement. While it shows the hypothesis test and other descriptive statistics, I think the study is flawed; all the better to discuss it on this forum.…

Price regulation — Marginal cost pricing is one form of price regulation, where the monopolist’s price is set equal to marginal cost at the quantity of output at which demand intersects marginal cost. To begin with, a centralized structure may not be very suitable to this business. With a centralized structure, there will be more supervision and less flexibility, therefore managers will have to look for permission from a superior head office if they want to change or do something dissimilar. This will be negative to the cinema since it will delay decision making and make the cinemas less responsive to changes in the market.…
