Definition

Training:

Training provides employees with the knowledge and skills to perform more effectively. This allows them to meet current job requirements or prepare them to meet the inevitable changes that occur in their jobs. Employees need to know or learn to perform the job, and Training provides exactly this. It is an instrument use to increase employees learning about his/her respective job.
According to ‘Wikipedia’ the definition of training is, ‘Training is the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies as a result of the teaching of vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful competencies.’
According to ‘Business Dictionary’, ‘Organized activity aimed at imparting information and/or instructions to improve the recipient's performance or to help him or her attain a required level of knowledge or skill.’
Everyone in the organization is affected by training. Every one receives training at one time or another, usually multiple times. Managers and supervisors need to be sure of giving proper training to every employee.
