It is a great opportunity for me to write about subject like “Climate Change”. At the time of preparing this term paper I am gone through different books and websites which helps me to get acquired with new topics. I can usually focusing on the topics which are important for us to understand about thus subject easily. I acknowledge my deepest gratitude to our dearest English teacher Sir Benedict
Geropn who is always sincere and helpful in making us understand the different system in making a research paper.

Introduction

Climate Change is changing our economy, health and community in diverse ways. Scientists warn that if we do not aggressively curb climate change now, the result will likely be disastrous. There are many questions that is need to be answer.
So that we, humans will make some moves in these problem. Carbon dioxide and other global warming pollutions are collecting in the atmosphere like a thickening blanket, trapping the sun’s heat and causing the planet to warm up. Climate change is a complex phenomenon, and it’s full-scale impacts are hard to predict far in advance. But each year scientists learn more about how climate change is affecting the planet and our communities, and most agree that carbon consequences are likely to occur if current trends continue. In addition to impacting our water resources, energy supply, transportation, agriculture and ecosystems, the United States global change research program concludes that climate change also poses unique challenges to human health such as: * Significant increases in the risk of illness and death related to extreme

heat and heat waves are very likely.

* Some diseases transmitted by food, water and insects are likely to

increase. * Certain groups, including children, the elderly and the poor are most

vulnerable to a range of climate related health effects. Climate Change affects our environment and natural

This includes resulting a change in weather. Emerging evidences shows that global warming is already causing heat waves, droughts, and intense precipitation. Overall, a more extreme weather pattern. Also, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), sea levels are estimated to rise 1.2 meters by 2100 as glaciers melt and warming sea water expands. All of these changes will greatly impact the ecosystem, as all species have their natural habitats where they are able to co-exist and survive, and when the environment around them changes, they will have to migrate or adapt. If they are unable to do so quickly enough, the species will face extinction (NASA). For example, the shifting seasons have already cause the lifecycle of bees to fall out of sync with flowering plants. The mismatch have already caused around 30 percent of the bees to die off per year in the last decade (McDonnell). It is estimates by the IPCC that 20% to 30% percent of all species will be at risk of extinction over the next century if the temperature indeed increases by 2.5 degrees…

Climate change means any significant, long-term change in the expected patterns of average weather of a specific region, or even the whole world over a significant period of time. It describes changes in the state of the atmosphere over time, scales ranging from decades to millions of years. Data shows that earth’s average air temperature has changed by about 1.4 degrees fahrenheit (Citation). Climate change is about abnormal variations into the climate, and the effects of these variations on other parts of the Earth. One example is the melting of the ice caps at the South Pole and North Pole. These changes may take tens, hundreds or perhaps millions of years.…

There are many questions about global warming, from its causes to its effects, and many people even question whether or not it even exists. Global warming is described as the increase of the average temperature of the Earth caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases produced by human activities, such as deforestation, use of fertilizers, fossil fuel combustion and cement production. According to the global warming theory, the intensification of industrial activities during the twentieth century (based on the fossil fuel combustion such as petrol and coal) increased the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere.…

The author raised the fact that we have observed for many years important climate changes as a result of our increased pollution and production of carbon dioxide. To address this important problem an Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was created. However, even with all the cumulative research data of more than 1,000 panels of scientists, we are still not able to predict with precision, the actual changes in climate!…

The world is changing, temperatures are rising, and nature itself is changing due to the temperature. But what’s causing it? And how can we prevent this from happening? According to an article called, The Real Holes in Climate Science, created by a senior reporter, named, Quirin Schlermeter. Since 1999, Quirin has written for Nature about science and related policies in Germany, the European Union, Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. The article was published in 2010 and it talks about scientist agreeing that the Earth’s climate is changing, includes some of IPCC and how policy makers are applying it. In results, I decided to analyzing this article, The Real Holes in Climate Science, along with my other sources supporting the idea of…

Even though there wasn’t ice everywhere when the ice age occurred, Australia and the rest of the continent were majorly affected by ice glaciers (known as bulldozers). Due to the environment being very cold and the outskirts of the glaciers turning into artic deserts, glaciers preserved the fossils of various plants and animals. Based on this fossil evidence, it is proven that animals such as bears and antelopes roamed the land and adapted to the cold temperatures during this chilly time.…

All of this began in the 1800’s when the “Industrial Revolution” took place. When this happened, people started to make goods in factories, rather than making them by hand and because of that, we have the factories today. To run machines in the factories they needed energy and they got that by burning fossil fuels like coal or gasoline. Now that leads to another topic, carbon dioxide or CO2.…

Global warming is called the greenhouse effect because the gases that are gathering above the earth make the planet comparable to a greenhouse. By trapping heat near the surface of the earth, the greenhouse effect is warming the planet and threatening the environment. Many scientists criticized Mr. Hansen's report, and the debate over global warming continues today. Current fears stem largely from the fact that global warming is occurring at such a rapid pace. Models are predicting that over the next century, the global temperature will rise by several degrees. Some scientists still do not think that the effects of global warming are as severe as some people say. They think that droughts, hurricanes, and floods often blamed on global warming might actually have other causes. One major difficulty in studying global warming is the fact that weather data only exists for the last century and a half. As a result, understanding the present and predicting the future are very difficult. The threat of global warming is among the most important of all modern environmental problems. There are a variety of ways of dealing with it, each attempting to combat one of the many causes of global warming. The problems that cause global warming include overpopulation, deforestation, ozone depletion, garbage dumping, and many others. These all have unique solutions which are now being promoted by environmentalists. Certain laws and treaties are aimed at reducing the emission of pollutants that result in global warming. In 1988, the International Conference on the Changing Atmosphere drew scientists and decision makers from 48 countries. Some policies could successfully reduce global warming. Raising fossil fuel prices, taxing emissions, and encouraging people to take environmentally friendly action through such activities as planting trees will all help. Because many problems leading to global warming are caused or contributed to by overpopulation, people are beginning to work to reduce…

What happened? I still remember those days in spring, those strange times. I think of the noise of workers, the apparently scared people, who lived on the bank of the river Bodrog. This time of the year was always special in Sarospatak, my home town; this part of the year was the flood season. Groups of people, helpful volunteers gathered, and started to build an obstacle on the two sides of the river, to prevent the frightening mass of water flowing, and drowning the city.…
