Ted Mosby's How I Met Your Mother
Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother is not a nice guy. Façade-ing as a good guy searching for true love, Ted went out and dated and slept with girls after girls for at least a decade, then after a number of years, now spends another decade to “share” all of his exotic experiences with his teenage children. “This is the story of how I met your mother”, he said. “I slept with this girl and that girl, etc. including your aunt Robin whom I still have a crush on”, he might as well have said. Oh and, I’ll briefly talk about your mother at the very end so that we won’t feel so bad.

At one episode, Ted’s friends (I think it was Marshall) pointed out how on each gathering occasion, such as Thanksgiving or Christmas, Ted would invite his girlfriend at that time to attend, she would be in the group picture, and never to reappear in the next one. How sad is that? How can we enter another person’s life, be a part of it, and then disappear (or in this case, make them disappear) forever? But good ole Ted did that, over and over. If someone spends some time to do some statistics, Ted may have slept with more people than Barney, the supposedly Don Juan of the group. In another popular show, The Big Bang Theory, Amy asks Penny if sleeping with 30 would constitute her as a slut. Well,

Still friends though, because being high school classmates is not something you can easily erase. Years went by, and one day I found myself gotten married with Arwen, another person who I met in high school, Jenny and I’s old classmate. But I couldn’t invite Jenny to our wedding: she’s my ex. And I look at the recent pictures when we went out to spend time with the old high school class, Jenny is not in them. I suddenly realize that she wasn’t there simply because we no longer dated, just like how she were in the older pictures simply because we were dating. I date someone and they are allowed to be in the pictures; I break up with them and they are no longer

This assignment proved to be a very difficult one for me, for the very fact that I just don’t watch a lot of television at all. I don’t find much of anything at all that is entertaining to me. So many of the sit coms today have such a dysfunctional portrayal of families and I find that many of them down right degrade and show nothing but disrespect for the father’s especially. Nonetheless I chose to use “The Cosby Show” as my program of choice because it is one I used to watch when I did find time for television viewing and found it somewhat entertaining.…

His overly precausous and paranoid nature, illuminated through repetition, allowed for his fear take hold of his good judgement. This fatal flaw fused with conjunctions ultimately sparked his deterioration as mind games of war compounded by the crushing weight of the things he carried were too much for Lavender’s feeble frame. In the end, like most battles with war, war won and no amount a dope or paranoia could have prevented Ted’s death for war is unpredictable and preparation is useless when combatting the unknown. The beauty of asyndetons and polysyndetons are that they relentlessly attack one’s paranoia from all angles in war. They do not care who the individual is or even how nice they might be as they expose every irrational fear they might carry or hold locked up…

Ted Bundy was a serial killer who raped and murdered more than 30 women in the U.S. During one of Bundy’s last interviews hours before he was executed he expressed the fact the pornography had played a major role in his being who he was present day. I believe that Bundy’s early interest in pornography had an unseen hand on his becoming a serial killer. Ted Bundy’s early exposure to pornography was minimal like all teenagers who had a fascination with it at first. For example Bundy’s phrase, “ as young boys,” during the interview shows his understanding that pornography is a stage most young males go into venturing while developing into an adult. Bundy’s exposure to pornography was more graphic then “regular” adult material and he felt as…

When people enter into any new relationship, they come to the new with a lot of old fears and unhealed emotional wounds (Daniel Sugarman p757). For example, I had an ex-girlfriend that goes by the name Maria. She was the last girl that I was intimate with before my wife Anita. Maria and I went our separate ways, because she did not want permanent commitment for the second time. Therefore, I moved forward without her, because I was in search of a soul mate. Six months later, I met Anita while attending an Emergency Medical Technical course at Southwestern College. Ironically, we were taking the same course with similar backgrounds; prior work history in medical field. Shortly after, we became study partners, and then passionate companions. Six months later, we got married and had two beautiful girls. Ten years later, I received a friend request via Facebook from my ex-girlfriend Maria. Secretly, I accepted the request; therefore Anita would have been upset, if she found out about Maria. Three months passed and Anita is still not aware of my friendship with my ex-girlfriend Maria. Then one day, I forgot and left my Facebook account unlocked; Anita found out the wrong way. It was a day I will never forget; I could not sleep for weeks, because I would be reminded of my treachery. As a result, I closed my Facebook account and never spoke to Maria…
