Technology
* Technology has been changing and improving education for centuries. Most changes have happened with the introduction of the computer into classrooms. In addition to the computer there have been many other technologies that have been added such as the LCD projector and internet access in the class. * With the help of projectors we can easily understand the lessons. Technology makes things easier in our life. For ex in olden days people had to travel long to know information about anything, but now we get it in seconds by single click, Yes I am talking about Internet. If we use computers in class room instead of paper, it would help to cut down costs for copies and paper for copiers.

In future the audiovisual technology classroom is classes that will be held over the computer almost like a videoconference. The teacher will not actually have to be in the room physically but can conduct his lesson off class. Sooner or later there will be no need to go to a library or to go to a class everything will be accessible from your desktop or laptop computer.

When talking about the future of technology in the classroom it seems as if you can dream it, it can happen. We see technology going in many different directions. I think that in the future all school children will have notebook computers. These will be their primary instruments of learning. The school districts will provide them for their students and they will be pre-programmed to the child’s academic schedule. As an example, the students will have on their homepage different icons for different subjects. When clicking on that subject’s icon the student will have access to a number of software programs that the student needs for that subject. The teacher will have a built in program that allows them to call up any student’s screen to evaluate their progress or to assist the student.
Student work will be completely different in the future. No longer will students make

Did you know that more than half of the world’s students are using tablet computers? To all the students out there who are not lucky enough to even use a computer (at home or at school), I am deeply sorry for you since half of the people that are at the same age as you are surrounded by information, and are improving their knowledge of the world everyday. No worries! After this speech you will have all the rights to go against who ever would not let your school have laptops/computers. "How is it possible to convince my headmaster to let us have computers in school?” A Chinese proverb once said: “Do not confine your children to your own learning, for they were born in a different time.” It clearly states how the minds of the elders and the juniors are so different since they were born in different times or even centuries. Would you rather listen to a person who has a mind to create more possibilities and not stick to the old rules or a person who sticks any same old rules that their elders once told them and rule the school? I bet you most people would choose a person who creates more possibilities than an old man who sticks to the rules and not let the school have technology. I mean, what is the point of a school, which only has books and pencils, and never interact with visual presentations; it would make the students lives in to hell! When they grow up, what job would require them to only write in books and pencils? If your child does not know anything about technology, what can they even be when they grow up? Nothing is my answer to that. You might say an architect, but sadly, they do use computers too, since after they finish the planning and design of the building, they would have to scan it on a computer and send it out to the managers. Our lives depend on technology and computers. Kids in school used to write on paper and read out of books But the fact is, more and more kids in school…

Schools around the world have been enhanced by the presence of technology. Whether someone is writing an essay on a laptop or studying the mysteries of the cosmos, advances in tech have changed education in ways such as the Smartboard. In classes, of various subjects, it seems no classroom is complete without a Smartboard. The interactive aspect of the boards assists people with kinesthetic and visual learner profiles which can peak interest in the subjects taught or makes it simpler for the students to understand and therefore hopefully hold on to the information better. Another technological advancement for learning is none other than the PC (personal computer) because of its access to many websites linked directly to education such as Google Classroom which is used for teachers to give assignments to students via Google Drive.…

    Tablets vs. Textbooks

Technology is undeniably becoming more popular in schools and is facilitating students in their pursuit to learn in many ways. Primarily tablets are more efficient, reducing the time needed to reach the material and thereby allowing the students to gather and learn information at a faster pace. Tablets can also store large amounts of information, including quizzes, tests, textbooks and other files thus removing the need for physical storage of these materials. This conserves money while preserving the environment; and according to “nomoreschoolbooks.webs.com”, “over six million trees a year are cut down for school paper” costing “thirty to fifty thousand dollars a year per school” as stated in “www.edutopia.org”. Initially the print textbook may seem to be the more cost-effective choice as the average tablet costs around three hundred and eighty six dollars according to “www.tomshardware.com”. But because electronic textbooks cost fifty to sixty percent less than print textbooks, as the students add more documents and data onto their tablet they will actually be saving money. Support for tablets is increasing, particularly in high levels of government including the secretary of education, Arne Duncan and the federal communications chair, Julius Genachowski who are arguing that school publishers should “switch to digital textbooks within five years to foster interactive education, save money on books and ensure classrooms in the U.S. up-to-date content”. Students…
