Teaching Sexual Identity
When analyzing the topic Sexual Identity I investigated that the majority of people were against schools teaching sexual identity however, some don’t. I’ve always believed that a couple is based on a man and a women. Although I should know better by now I cannot help to think that children are going to be taught sexual identities at a very young age. At the same time schools have a very strong point, because they feel like children don’t know how they feel about themselves, and they should know, so if they feel that they don’t belong in their body. As of right now a lot of children are growing up with different thoughts from the ones I had. Schools shouldn’t be teaching sexual identities because I believe it doesn’t correspond to them. In my survey Raul states that “Teachers should teach them that god made a female and a male that meant to be together, and that, that should be the first thing they should teach them.” In other words, they should talk to children about what god created first and then they could teach them about how others feel. I agree to this because they should know what was going on before everything changed. Also, Emanuel said that “it’s the same if they talk to them about sexual Identity and if they talk to them about God because not everyone agrees with it.” What he is trying to say is that just like people don’t believe in god theirs people who don’t believe that sexual identities is right. I feel like this is exactly why they shouldn’t talk about sexual identity because in my opinion I would like to be tough about god instead of this so they should balance things out and be
