Every human being likes to work or learn in a relaxed environment. Starting from a very early age, children begin to acquire things and learn from the environment they are exposed to. The learning process becomes more difficult when they begin their journey to school. There are several regulations and rules that they have to follow and they have to learn many new things and languages apart from their own native language. However, if the learners are taught in a playful way, they acquire better. As stated by Huizinga, games are not just for fun, but they serve some special purpose as well. (Huizinga 1949: 2). Huizinga further adds that games help young learners to develop certain skills which prepare them for much more challenging work later in their lives. (Huizinga 1949: 2).

2) How effective the educational games in primary grades are.
The research method used in this master’s paper is phenomenological methodology as the research is associated with the real-life experience of the respondents embodied in the form of wisdom accumulated over a period of time. Henceforth, a substantial amount of subjective data was required which has further formed the very basis of this research. The research was carried out for 3 months and the author has attempted to collect as much substantial data as possible.
To maintain the reliability and the validity of the research, various data collection instruments have been used. The research required both qualitative and quantitative data which have been collected by using interviews, a questionnaire and a focus group discussion.     Using focus group and semi-structured interview instruments to collect data helped keeping track of what I observed and how to analyse it. Methods of recording information gathered during focus groups and interview for collecting unbiased information have helped to gain credibility as an accurate and useful source of information collection. Focus group and semi- structured interviews were effective in communicating a desire to obtain meaningful and honest information, both instruments were well designed that helped the conversation develop in line with my research questions.
