Introduction Paragraph
Teachers are important, because they are many students role models, My perception of an ideal teacher is basically of a good human being, kind, compassionate, understanding and forgiving, who is interesting and fun loving, someone, who loves us and can make teaching interesting.
Teaching is considered to be a noble profession but today people opt for this profession without giving a thought to the sacrifice, commitment and dedication it needs. There are many teachers but it would not be wrong say that very few have the aptitude and attitude to become teachers, many are in this profession more for the sake of earning money.
An ideal teacher is the one who loves students and can inspire them.
An ideal teacher should know the subject well and can make it so interesting that children do not get bored. When he/she teaches, the students are spell bound. An ideal teacher is a good actor who can put life into any dull topic.
Students want to be in the class by choice and not by force.
He/she should have a good sense of humor, not sensitive, can laugh at him and can also laugh with the students. He/she does not get angry easily and can enjoy each moment of being with students. He/she should be like a friend in whom the students can confide easily without the fear of being ridiculed or criticized.
An ideal teacher is kind and forgiving. He/she always has time to solve problems of the students, not losing his/her temper. He/she is honest, disciplined, simple and humble. He/she never brags about what he/she knows and does not try to prove that he/she is God and knows everything. A good teacher is also not proud, but ready to accept his mistakes and does not hesitate to apologize.
Thus, a teacher with the above qualities would be an ideal teacher I guess.

    * The first characteristic necessary in being the ideal teacher is being involved. Teachers will become like second parents to many students in their career, so being involved is crucial. When you think of a teacher, many assume the only thing they can be involved in is standing in front of a classroom and giving homework, this is certainly not the case. For instance, teachers know they may be faced with a student who is having a hard time at home, such as being abused and in many cases have no-one else to turn to. The ideal teacher makes it a point to get involved so that any student feels confident enough that they can talk to their teacher. When I was in school I hit the age that I thought I knew everything and was getting into trouble, I look back now and thank god that I had some outstanding teachers who helped me through.…

Every since I was young I always wanted my career to be teacher. My grandfather is actually the reason why I wanted to become one. I wanted to follow in his footsteps. The word teacher is responsible for informing or teaching someone something. But not everyone would have the same image of a teacher. I personally have an image of a teacher as being someone who is kind, loving, gentle, patient, and understanding. When I think of the word teacher, I get the visual image of a person standing by a desk helping a child with their school work. My own thoughts of what I believe a teacher should be, along with my life experiences and goals all contribute to why I want to be a teacher. My thoughts of what a teacher should be formed from my own life experiences. As a child grows up, they learn many things and for most of us, we do not remember learning some of the things that we know how to do, for example walking, talking and loving. There are many forms of teachers, as an adult, I myself am in college learning, but I also find myself learning things from other people and my work environment.…

The teacher is the representative of the content and the school. How a teacher presents himself makes an impression on administrators, colleagues, parents, and students. Often a student links the preference to a particular subject to a teacher and the way the subject was taught. A teacher who exudes enthusiasm and competence for a content area may transfer those feelings to the students. In addition, how the teacher relates to the pupils has an impact on the students’ experience in the class. Being a good teacher is easy; he just must love what he teaches and who he teaches. But speaking about the qualities of a ‘good’ teacher, I think he should meet the requirements of three groups of people: students, parents and headmasters. Their demands can be different in some ways. Students, for example, want to have an understanding, humorous, creative, up-to-date and enthusiastic teacher, who makes his lessons enjoyable and informative. Parents require a good teacher to help their children develop knowledge, better school grades and have individual approach to every little genius. As for headmasters, they need responsible teachers with professional ethic, who follow school rules and regulations and guide students through the whole learning process.…
