TATTOOS AND PIERCING
Are you among those who believe that covering the body with tattoos and decorating it with piercing looks attractive? On the contrary, there are some people who say that it is disgusting to disfigure your body. Both sides have their reasons on this viewpoint. Let us discuss this contestable question. From my point of view, tattoos and piercing don’t make people more beautiful. To begin with, body piercing and tattoos can be highly dangerous and very unattractive when infected. If a person is uncared, piercing can lead to infection thereby causing scarring and, in severe cases, blood poisoning. Moreover, piercing and tattoos requires a great deal of research in finding the right place where the stud is to be inserted. In case it is not placed carefully, it can accidentally be pushed through a nerve which is highly painful and dangerous. At the same time, some people maintain the idea that with the help of body piercing and tattoos people have the possibility to enhance own personality and look different from others. Gorgeous and trendy piercing jewelry makes any person special and every individual feels unique and can show her or his own style. Perhaps, these arguments are right in a way. However, I’m of a different opinion. Piercing and tattoos can cause allergic reactions if the person is sensitive to the metal of the jewelry. Coming back to the point raised at the beginning, I would like to demand that there are different opinions on this contradictory problem. Yet I hope that most people share my point of view that piercing or tattoos is not the best way to express one’s individuality and show one’s unique style.
