If someone loved makeup as much as Talia Castellano, wouldn’t someone live for it? At the age of seven, Talia Castellano found out that she had a cancer living in her body called, Neuroblastoma. Little did she know that she would be battling neuroblastoma and other various cancers in a six-period span. Talia Castellano was the girl that changed her world, with the power of her love for makeup and fashion, battling various types of cancer, and also seeing the bright side of life. Talia Castellano refused to give up her battle against cancer, by growing up as a young girl in a world full of makeup and fashion she began to show her love for it on YouTube. For Talia cancer seemed apart of her daily life, “Her battle with cancer began when she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at the age of seven, on Feb. 14, 2007. In August of 2012, after more than five years of chemo, surgeries, treatments and multiple relapses, Talia was diagnosed with secondary cancer, MDS or preleukemia. Talia and her family were told that there were no longer any options to treat her and she had just months left to live. However, through perseverance, her family discovered a novel combination of drugs to combat both diseases and she had a miraculous response.” (News, Heritage Florida Jewish 3). It is quite easy to see how strong of a young girl she was. With her life laced with many different treatments, she was a special girl to have gone out and shared her happiness with the world through YouTube.
