The Network for Airline Services

Dear Airline Commercial Executives,
We invite you to attend the 2011 APG WORLD CONNECT conference, as our guests, to be held this year in Singapore, November 2nd to 4th at the famous Fairmont/Raffles Hotel. This year’s gathering will be geared to you, our clientele, and focus on “Developing a Practical Distribution Strategy”. Please see the attached proposed agenda.
We anticipate welcoming more than 70 “C” level Commercial and Distribution participants from client airlines headquartered in Asia and around the world. It is an exceptional opportunity for you to interact with other high level airline executives in a convivial atmosphere, in one place for two days.
APG Global Associates (APG GA) is “The Network for Airline Services”, presence in 149 countries via its 91 Members. We are, by far, the worldwide leader in distribution for scheduled airlines, having introduced some 211 airlines into the 87 BSPs worldwide, through the variably costed IBCS program (IATA BSP Consolidator System). More than 250 airlines use at least one of the outsourced services that we have developed in our World Program - from variably costed introduction into BSPs and ARC (for the USA), to our extensive General Sales and Services Agency practice, access to an Electronic Interline hub called APG IET, to ATPCO Fare Filing services and global Call Centre Services.
After hosting successful World Connect meetings at the Dead Sea in Jordan (2009) and in Monaco (2010), we are pleased to invite you to this exceptional annual social and informational event, where airline commercial executives, like yourself, will be able to exchange views and experiences, in order to create more value for your airline. APG Global Associates from more than
60 countries will

Southwest’s relentless commitment goes beyond the lip service most companies uphold. From line level to the C-suite, everyone works hard to ensure customers feel they are the center of attention. Flight crew routinely exceeds passengers’ expectations to the point it has become routine. Attendants feel encouraged to be creative. They feel their duties entail not just standard tasks, but going further to ensure customers are entertained or engaged in other ways that would ‘infect them’ with Southwest’s positive energy. Senior management does its part by, for example, doing everything to keep prices as low as possible low and using fees for special services only as a last resort.…

To prevent this predicted dominance, IATA emerged and “pooling agreements” become a common resource to create entry barriers.…
