SWOT Analysis

The SWOT analysis is very important especially in the hotel industry. When it comes to tourism, the hotel industry is very important. In fact, it is a supporting service that affects the presence of tourists in a certain place. The SWOT analysis is vital to determine if the industry is helping in the achievement of tourism goals. SWOT analysis is a tool for auditing an organization and its environment. It is the first stage of planning and helps marketers to focus on key issues. By identifying the weaknesses, the hotels can better address potential problems in the future. SWOT stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Strengths and weaknesses are internal factors. Opportunities and threats are external factors. The analysis can vary from one place to another and so you can’t just copy the SWOT analysis of other places.

a) Strengths

For Hyatt Regency Kinabalu Hotel, the strengths of the hotel include it is one of the several quality hotels in the state that are able to meet the demands of tourists. Besides, the strengths of Hyatt Regency Kinabalu includes premium offering, online booking and great cenral location.

Hyatt specializes in deluxe hotels with meeting facilities and special services for the business traveler. In Kota Kinabalu, Hyatt has made a significant contribution to revitalizing the area and spurring business and population growth. Hyatt Regency Kinabalu is part of Hyatt International, one of the most prestigious hotel chains in the world. Career opportunities ranging from full time employment to part-time employment where strives to provide a fair and ethical work environment for all its employees. The employees are Hyatt Regency Kinabalu’s principle asset and it is their commitment to Hyatt Values that sets Hyatt apart from its competitors.
