This study is conducted on the 1st semester of A.Y. 2012-2013 inside the campus of Lyceum of the Philippines University - Cavite. The aim of this study is to assess the environmental practices of Mounts Palay-Palay / Mataas na Gulod Protected Landscape in terms of Waste Management, Water Resources, Protection of Flora and Fauna, and People Participation and Awareness Generation. In line with this, the researchers also want to determine the factors that affect the management in terms of implementing the environmental practices in Mounts Palay-Palay / Mataas na Gulod Protected Landscape. The respondents were tourists / mountaineers that already visited Mounts Palay-Palay / Mataas na Gulod Protected Landscape. The level of implementation of environmental practices was assessed through the results of the survey. This may be beneficial, not only to the researchers, but also to the tourists, government agencies namely Department of Tourism and Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and to the future researchers. A descriptive method of research was utilized in the study. Research techniques and procedures were used to examine the collection of the information gathered regarding the researcher’s topic. The researchers made use of questionnaires to gather data or information. The researchers used purposive non-probability sampling in the study. The drafts were presented to the thesis adviser, next to set of panellist and lastly to the CITHM Chairperson.
