Surviving To Be Resourceful In Miracle In The Andes
“They didn't survive by eating each other;they survived by being resourceful” (schablitsky). In Miracle in the Andes they did eat the dead but they were also resourceful in many different ways just like “Aron Ralston 127 Hours” and “How A Man Survived 438 Days Stuck At Sea.” These three stories show how to survive while be resourceful.
In Miracle In the Andes, the survivors demonstrate resourcefulness to survive. In the story “How A Man Survived 438 Days Stuck At Sea” they have to be really resourceful and do whatever they can to survive stranded in the middle of nowhere in the ocean. ”they had collected five gallons of freshwater in plastic bottles they'd found floating in the ocean. ” (Franklin)in this part of the story they were very resourceful because of they didn't use the water bottles they found they could have died of dehydration because they can't drink the ocean water it will make them even more dehydrated.
