This film was directed by Alek Keshishien and is published on April, 24, 1994 by Warner Bros studio. This comedy-drama film was the only “college movie” where the student protagonists are concerned about both academics and attempting to grow as people. In that case, it is really easy for us to relate to the characters. And as we relate to them, we are already admiring them. For example, we admired Simon: a homeless man. It had a power to turn something trashy to something admirable and great. It’s so magical that by how hating someone can be wrong at the end. Because as in real life; we doesn’t have the right to judge others, without even putting on their own shoes and walking on their path. The first main conflict was about Monty’s thesis that Simon doesn’t want to give back. And they make a deal to adopt Simon in exchange of giving each thesis papers that Monty wants. As the story goes on, more problems are inserting: Jeff refusal on Monty’s plan, Simon’s leaving, Simon’s failing health and his death.

More specifically: to graduate. Just like in life, we focus more on academic matters that we forgot the people that gave us the real meaning of it. The real life lessons and the experience, most of the times, it takes a great tragedy to understand what’s important. Simon also uses stones to remind him of a specific “memory”.
