In the article, “Harnessing Our Power as Consumers” by Ed Finn asserts that if we consumers take initiative to stop purchasing from sweatshops, the benefits could be tremendous for both consumers and sweatshops. Finn’s first argument is declaring why people should buy higher quality items rather than made in a sweatshop. Ed himself only buy items that are being made by Canada or places with a decent labor standards.
