Summary Of The Dark Night Rises By James Holmes
On July 20, 2012 James Holmes entered a movie theater in Aurora Colorado during the primer of "The Dark Night Rises". He entered through an emergency exit in the front of the theater tossed two gas canisters and began shooting into the crowd. When the attack was over there were 12 killed and 58 people injured, Holmes was arrested without incident near his car parked behind the theater. On him the police found three weapons and large amounts of ammunition. It is important to note that at the time of his arrest he talked of his apartment being booby-trapped and loaded with incendiaries and small improvised explosive devices. There were many pieces of visual evidence used in his trial that was collected from the theater, his car, and his apartment.
