The article “Hype” by Kalle Lasn says that daily there is around 12 billion display ads, 3million commercials, and more than 200,000 TV commercials telling us the most recently products in the market of any type of category, it can be health, education, food, houses, transportation, clothes, etc. There is a long list of places around us which are cramped with all these types of announcements for example on the subway, newspapers, TV, radio, supermarkets, libraries, etc. “There is nowhere to run. No one is exempt and no one will be spared” says Lans. In my opinion we actually need all these commercials to be aware what is going on around us. For example, most of new Yorkers don’t have time to go to ensure offices to compare which one offer

    The function of marketing is to either increase the number of customers or increase the rate of use among current customers.
