In reading the article “Stewardship: Being Co-Managers with God” by Harvey Nowland (2009), the first sentence really stands out to me. How true it is that many Christians can most likely define stewardship, but many don’t practice it. And, most would not associate stewardship with managing a business. However, as Nowland (2009) states, “a business manager oversees the use of a company’s resources including money, machinery and personnel in order to profitably provide a product or service in harmony with the company’s purpose and values – and that’s stewardship”.
