Summary: An Act Of Vengeance
“Fear is inevitable. I have to accept that, but I cannot allow it to paralyze me.” My personal fear is letting people down, the feeling of being a failure to those who believe so highly of me is absolutely horrible, even to think about. What I do to overcome that fear is do what I need to do to prepare myself for what lies ahead and never give up no matter what. That fear keeps me motivated in a sense, it's both my strength and weakness. In An Act of Vengeance, Dulce wants to get revenge on Tadeo for killing her father but she ends up falling in love with him 30 years later so she gets ready to marry him then kills herself on her wedding day. She's an innocent and young girl who isn't the most beautiful but has some talents such as dancing and playing the piano which is spread out throughout everywhere. She isn't aware of the people who don't like her and talk behind her back. Tadeo soon crashes the party that was thrown and not only takes the life of Dulce's father but her own innocence as well. What must it be like to be so alone and innocent? Dulce is stuck in her situation like Auzecena but unlike her, Dulce has the ability to change her fate instead of being trapped inside that hole for the rest of her life. 30 years go by and Tadeo still thinks of Dulce and what he's done to her, soon falling in love with her. While Dulce continues in life not doing anything but secretly planning her revenge still from that night. Which means to fall in love with his head to mess with his head. Why is love such a powerful thing? Dulce's point of view in life has changed like Belisa’s did when she started to read and discover words but instead of improving on in life, she was only left as a bluntly numb person who had only one goal, one purpose in life to live on and that was to fulfill the promise she made to her dying
