Ryfle goes on to quote critics that were flabbergasted by the contrast of two films - the original Japanese film with its primitive special effects and recollection of the horrific aftermath of the atomic bombings, versus the re-cut, copy and pasted version showed to the United states as a monster-mash entertainment film.…

The issues of resolving legal disputes in international transactions occurs frequently. Many companies involved with international transactions must be enforced in contracts between companies and countries. Just as in the simulation between the U.S. CadMex and Gentura located in Candore had to do. Without this, if a company needs to take legal action against one another then they have to figure out where to resolve this and how to go about it. Making sure that this is in the contract in the first steps will help to resolve legal disputes easier. Also this would be practical for the company to decide on the type of law whether to go with foreign or there homeland. As in the simulation some of the laws were both domestic and foreign. This sometimes can take a while for all parties to agree on, as many of the laws are different in each country.…

Despite being written in the late sixteenth century, Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice is a timeless piece and provides great themes to be analyzed for purposes of a book report. The Merchant of Venice is one of Shakespeare's less popular comedies, having been plagued in recent times with complaints of anti-Semitic themes. The summary of this really has to do with the character Shylock, a caricature of a greedy, Jewish money-lender. The two main characters of the story are a Venetian merchant, Antonio, and his Bassanio, who is in love with a wealthy heiress named Portia. Bassanio wants to propose to Portia but needs money to travel and appear worthy of her. Antonio wants to lend the money to Bassanio but his monies are all tied up in ships that are still at sea. He suggests that Bassanio approach Shylock for the loan and use Anthony's name as the guarantor.…

Guy Montag is a fireman in charge of burning books in a grim, futuristic United States. The book opens with a brief description of the pleasure he experiences while on the job one evening. He wears a helmet emblazoned with the numeral 451 (the temperature at which paper burns), a black uniform with a salamander on the arm, and a “phoenix disc” on his chest. On his way home from the fire station, he feels a sense of nervous anticipation. After suspecting a lingering nearby presence, he meets his new neighbor, an inquisitive and unusual seventeen-year-old named Clarisse McClellan. She immediately recognizes him as a fireman and seems fascinated by him and his uniform. She explains that she is “crazy” and proceeds to suggest that the original duty of firemen was to extinguish fires rather than to light them. She asks him about his job and tells him that she comes from a strange family that does such peculiar things as talk to each other and walk places (being a pedestrian, like reading, is against the law). Clarisse’s strangeness makes Guy nervous, and he laughs repeatedly and involuntarily. She reminds him in different ways of candlelight, a clock, and a mirror. He cannot help feeling somehow attracted to her: she fascinates him with her outrageous questions, unorthodox lifestyle, perceptive observations, and “incredible power of identification.” She asks him if he is happy and then disappears into her house. Pondering the absurd question, he enters his house and muses about this enigmatic stranger and her comprehension of his “innermost trembling thought.”…

This study attempts to identify the distinct stylistic features of the three contemporary Tamil scholars named Mahakavi Barathi (MB), V. Kalsanasundaram (VK) and Subramaniya Iyer (SI) by using their literary works. These three scholars wrote articles on India's Freedom Movement in the magazine called India. Initially, all the three scholars have written articles by attributing their names however, because of the oppressive attitude of the then British Regime, all the three writers wrote articles on the same topic anonymously in the same magazine. All the attributed and unattributed articles written on India’s Freedom Movement in that magazine were compiled and brought out as a book entitled Bharathi Dharisanam in the year 1975. All attributed articles of these three scholars written on India’s…
