Subic Bay Introduction
SUBIC BAY YACHT CLUB

Subic Bay Yacht Club, a recreational facility located north of Manila, has the makings of a world-class resort. In fact, it was designed to meet and even exceed every visitor’s expectations.

Ideally positioned near the city centre, the Subic Bay Yacht Club Hotel is an extensive vacation complex featuring a wide range of impressive amenities to keep a holiday break busy. It is situated right next to the Moonbay Marina area and is within reach of many interesting attractions in the locality, including the beach and the popular marine parks.

The property has everything from a grand club house to a good selection of entertainment joints, including a disco bar, karaoke lounge, and a piano bar. Dining options include a deli and several restaurants serving Japanese, Italian, and Chinese cuisine. There are various water sports facilities for rent, plus a spa offering health and beauty treatments.

With its location near the business district of Subic Bay Freeport, or about an hour drive from Manila via the North Luzon and Subic- Tarlac expressway, you would find this club convenient and affordable for a weekend getaway.

In early 1991, after the collapse of protracted negotiations, the Philippine Senate rejected terms for renewal of the lease of the base. The US Navy was already in the process of downsizing its Subic operations in June 1991, when Mount Pinatubo
