Subaru Essay
Subaru (スバル?) is the automobile manufacturing division of Japanese transportation conglomerate Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), thetwenty-second biggest automaker by production worldwide in 2012.[1]
Subaru is known for its use of the boxer engine layout in most of its vehicles above 1500 cc as well as its use of the all wheel drivedrive-train layout since 1972, with it becoming standard equipment for mid-size and smaller cars in most international markets by 1996, and now standard in most North American market Subaru vehicles. The lone exception is the RWD BRZ introduced in 2012. Subaru also offers turbocharged versions of their passenger cars, such as the Impreza WRX.
Fuji Heavy Industries, the parent company of Subaru, is currently in a partial partnership with Toyota Motor Corporation, which owns 16.5% of FHI.[2]
Subaru is the Japanese name for the Pleiades star cluster (M45, or "The Seven Sisters" <one of whom tradition says is invisible--hence only six stars in the Subaru logo>), which in turn inspires the logo and alludes to the companies that merged to create FHI.[3]

Technology has been advancing dramatically and so have supercars. Because of the vast advancement of technology supercars are evolving at an unbelievable speed. Supercars have mainly advanced through engineering, styling, and performance. “Since the 1960s, many supercars have come and gone, but many have left their mark on the supercar world for their breakthroughs in engineering, styling and technology. Notable models have included the 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo, with its rear-mounted, turbocharged engine, still found in many supercars today. The 1987 Ferrari F40, one of the most extreme supercars ever made, was the last car commissioned by Enzo Ferrari himself, and relied on its aerodynamic shape instead of power for speed. Most recently, we 've seen the 2005 Bugatti Veyron, the first production car in the world with more than 1000 brake horsepower, and the current benchmark for power.” (ehow. Demand Media Inc.) Companies all around the world are competing to see who can make the best supercar in…

The first thing that we all notice while watching the movie is the “black and white” color used in filming it. The director Elia Kazan tries to portray the way movies from back in the day were since they didn’t have the color cameras. I acknowledge that the director chose the right actors to play the different personalities involved in Tennessee Williams’ book. The only bad part according to me is that there was no improvisation; they just pretty much did everything that was written in Tennessee Williams’ book. The setting of the play described exactly how undeveloped the technology was back in the day and showed how “dirt bags” like Stanley dressed like. Stanley and Stella didn’t live the life of the rich or middle class, they leaved in a tiny apartment which got Blanche to wonder why Stella left their town to live in this pig style in New Orleans.…
