Today, in most countries, computers and other IT resources are deployed by institutions of learning to facilitate the dissemination, access and management of information. This project evaluates and analyzes the processes, technology and methodologies implemented in the development of a web-based information system termed “Electronic Student Management System” (E-SMS) to solve the basic problems of the manual method used by the administrators and staff of secondary schools in Nigeria
