One of the most rational ways to do so is by using smart boards in the classroom. A smart board is a digital board that allows students to connect fobs or smart phones to it in order to interact with the skills or lessons being taught by either the teacher or another student all from where they are seated in the class. In my heart I have always wanted to teach. I believe that there are three ingredients to learning. All children can learn, children should be respected as people, and children are children and should be treated that way. I believe that children are able to learn regardless of their race, religion, social status and the environment around them. With a little patience and kindness you can teach a child almost anything. Respect is something that is earned. I believe that if you show children the respect that they deserve they will respect you in return. My goal as an educator is to help children learn in a safe, healthy, nurturing and structured environment. I think that children learn best when there are clear and concise rules and when they are able to participate in their learning. During my teaching experience, I find that children learn with different learning styles. Multiple intelligences play a big role in their learning.…

Technological advances are being developed daily and are incorporated in people’s everyday lives whether it is during work, school or leisure activities. This is the reason why technology should be used to support student learning and achievement. According to Intel Corporation (2009), being proficient in technology and the network is an essential part of life in the 21st century. I believe one must be proficient in technology to be able to function successfully in the workforce. This proficiency should start in the classroom and should continue throughout one’s education and followed throughout one’s life.…

Besides, technological instruction also helps students adjust to learning styles by providing a self-paced learning environment that helps all students to feel less threatened by new material. One of the reasons that let student exposed to technology is make them feel comfortable with it and be prepared for their future life.…

There are five main philosophical schools of thought in education which are essentialism, perennialism, progressivism, existentialism and reconstructionism. However, here I have only chosen the philosophies which believe in student-centred approach. There are three philosophies that hold the similarity of being less authoritarian and placing the students as the centre in learning process. These three philosophies reject essentialism and do not agree with traditional mediums of teaching. They are recontructionism, progressivism, and existentialism…
