Like most things, mobile phones have their advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, its advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Some of the reasons for this are listed below.
First of all, mobile phones enable people to be in contact wherever and whenever they are. They connect you to the whole world, and enable you to finish business jobs without having to go to the work.
Secondly, mobile phones gives you to the ability to contact your family and friends in emergency cases. Most women who travel alone feel more secure knowing that in an emergency or breakdown they can call someone for help.
Mobile phones are not only widely used, there are also fast. It takes only seconds to be in touch with anyone in every part of the world, in contrast to regular mails that were used before, which took ages to arrive at the certain place. Therefore, mobile phones are considered by businessperson as a vital link with their office, because they can connect to the internet and send and receive emails within a few seconds.
Another point is the possibility that parents can stay in contact with their children every moment through mobile phones, and therefore they can control where they are and who they are with. Also, if children are having extra lessons at school or they are going to a friend of their after the school, they can just phone their parents, and they will be calm.
