Street Hockey Street hockey is a game that requires strength, energy, stickhandling skill, accuracy, and sportsmanship. The goal of the game is to shoot the hockey puck into the opponents’ net. The game is started by a face-off. There are two types of face-offs: the standard face-off and the stick-to-stick face-off. The standard face-off is when the opponents face each other in the center, and the referee drops the puck in the middle to begin the game. The stick-to-stick face-off is when two opponents face each other in the center, and go for the puck after a ground-stick, ground-stick, ground-stick battle. Street hockey can be played on almost any surface. In a standard game, there are twelve players. The common positions are three offense, two defense, and one goalie.
