Program Applied: Masters (MS)
Major: Petroleum Engineering
I was always fascinated by research, especially work that benefits common people or the environment. The idea that my efforts may better someone’s life or help create a greener planet motivates me. Since childhood, I was always curious to know more about the fuel which drives the machinery, Jets, vehicles and other equipment across the globe. So after completing my Bachelors, I intend to pursue M.S. in Petroleum Engineering in your esteemed university to enhance my research skills and work towards my areas of interest which are Economic exploration of Oil and Gas, Reduction of the Hydrocarbons impact on the Environment and Aviation Fuels.

However, during this quality time spent at that industry, I learnt quite a lot about the process technologies of Petroleum, Oil and Gas Industry and also had the chance to closely learn about the various aspects of Upstream and Downstream job skills. Here, I got hands on experience with machines and tools required on Rigs, Offshore Drilling Equipment and Gas based Power Plants. This is where, the vast application, potential and tremendous scope for high career in Oil and Gas Industry began to fascinate me and I am keen to continue my academic pursuit in this …show more content…
