Sure, you could work for one of those big tutoring companies, but when you received your paycheck, you would likely be making a lot less than you would if you were running your own tutoring business. Just do the math. For example, a large company will charge the customer a certain amount, say $50 per hour. They pay you $20 per hour and keep the other $30. Therefore, you are making less than 50% profit off of something that you can do yourself, without even working for them.

There are many benefits to starting your own tutoring business. Before you decide to work for someone else, consider starting your own business. It is not that difficult and the overhead costs are minimal. In addition, you will have the potential to earn a lot more money and have the freedom to spend time as you wish.

At the beginning of the semester my leadership skills weren't as inclined as they currently are. I believe that a peer mentor is a student who is willing to be a helping hand for their peers. They are available to provide support, guidance, or just be an approachable companion. They take pride in doing what it takes to better themselves and other’s around them. They are able to identify and accept their strengths and weaknesses and build upon them. They should be caring because it’s all about what you can do for other people and our school. They need to be driven and motivated to complete any tasks that are thrown their way. They also need to be able to balance mentoring, school, and whatever other activities…

Using online tutoring Course materials can be mounted on to a web site. Speedy interactions take place between tutor and learner using e-mail, and, perhaps most significantly, collaboration between learners can easily take place, and allowing for the building of a learning community which allows learners to work and socialize in group, as they would in a face-to-face course. Having experienced and successful online tutors will help in improving the efficiency of learning as well as helping many more people acquire new skills.
