Stargirl Research Paper
Stargirl and Leo have had an impact and everyone in Mica High. In fact I often found myself comparing myself to Leo. Leo is not afraid to be himself. They both have very out going personalities. In this essay I am going to compare myself to Leo to see how we relate, how we are different and how our personalities have changed throughout the book and my life. Leo has a very curious personality, he is often trying to find the truth and does not let a case go. There are many differences, I am not one to be curious and i often find myself leaving case unfinished and I usually don't end up causing a story till the end. Leo curiosity shines in the chapter where he follows Stargirl home, compared to me I stick to my own business, I usually don't involve myself in other people's business because in the sense of curiosity me and leo we are not similar in the sense of curiosity. We are also different in the department of how we see people. If i saw someone like Stargirl i would probably not want to be around them, I usually judge people how others see them I not one to invest further in their personality. …show more content…
Near the end of the book leo wanted to be like everyone. I can relate to this because at one point I just wanted to be like everyone else, but Leo and I both learned that it is not necessary to change who you are. We also both learned that being selfish doesn't always get you what you want. As evidence in the text Leo made Stargirl change herself for his benefit and that ended in Stargirls embarrassment. Also i think that Leo and i learn our lessons to late. As proof in the text Leo learn that his actions can hurt others and he lost Stargirl before he even knew what happened. I can relate to that because I often say the wrong things to the wrong people and I often learn to late that my actions can hurt other

Lyssa is less openly admiring of Leo but internally appreciates his contributions to the relationship including his disgusting job killing cattle and rounding up unwanted dogs to sell for animal testing. She admits she has seen the less than nice side of him and does whatever she needs to do to avoid upsetting him. Lyssa and Mouse have a friendly but distant relationship. Stargirl, a novel by Jerry Spinelli, is a remarkable book that I couldn’t put down. The protagonist, Stargirl, has a unique personality that greatly affects her classmates when she first attends Mica HIgh School as a new student. Stargirl affects Leo, a shy boy who falls in love with Stargirl, the most. The author keeps the story interesting by adding unexpected twists to the story. One example of a twist was when Stargirl went from having a very different and unique personality to an average student due to bullying. Also, the author’s vivid descriptions made me feel like I was part of the story. One of the author’s best descriptions is on page 85 and is written as, “In school I was a yellow balloon, smiling and lazy, floating above the classrooms.”…

One interesting idea that I learned from this novel is that you can't ever spend enough or too much time with anyone. You're supposed to live your life surrounded with people that can make your life fun and interesting. You are not always going to be with that person, so enjoy as much possible with that person. Never be mad at that person for that time is being lost for a simple error someone made.…

After my initial immersion into the study of astrology -- when learning the basics was a fascinating challenge -- I began to explore the multidimensional nature of astrology and metaphysics. It was quite clear that women and men experience and express the energetic qualities symbolized in their charts differently. Being a woman, I chose to delve into the gender-differences from a woman's point of view. That writing resulted in what you'll read in this report.
