Star Wars defined the summer as the prime releasing season, placed a new emphasis on young audiences, used special effects, animation, computers and exhilarating action to speed up the pacing, and grossed so much money that many of the best young directors gave quest for the great american film and aimed for the box office crown instead. star wars portrayed a concert like vibe with lines out the door to see the film, while that still occurs today, when star wars first appeared it was unheard of for people to wait in line for a film, there was great films that came out alongside star wars like “Jaws” being one of them. But with star wars coming out of nowhere in the 70s and 80s it created a passion for moviegoers that lasted nearly four decades. Fans of movies was unlikely because many films at the time were solo films with no back up story or continuation.

Fan films were even being created, even big tv shows had their shot at the star wars craze like family having a star wars themed episode, even the music and been copied from the original to being heard by orchestras everywhere. It managed the modern special effects movies as well as movie trilogies creating a lane for movies like “Lord of the Rings’ and “The Matrix”.
