Stainless Steel Research Paper
Stainless steel is made up of many different types of metal to make just a single piece of steel. Metal alloy is mixed in with chromium, nickel, molybdenum, silicon, aluminum, and carbon. Iron is the main component mixed in with carbon to make stainless steel. The ingredient that makes the steel rust resistant is chromium, nickel makes corrosion resistant in case of a very harsh way it is used. Scarring is also common is stainless steel so molybdenum makes the steel scarring resistant. Copper, titanium, and vanadium is also important ingredients to making the steel it is used to improve properties and the structure.
