St. Peter Research Paper
St. Peter is known as our very first Pope! He became one of the twelve apostles of

Jesus also. To me St. Peter isn't like all of the other saints, He was the very first

Saint I knew and learned about when I was a little kid. I picked St. Peter because he has a

couple of sayings that mean a lot to me. Like this on which is my favorite " Cast all of

your anxieties upon him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7

St. Peter's feast day is on June 29. He was born on 1b.c in Bethsaida, Gaulanities, Syria

And died on a.d 67 in Rome, Italy, Roman Empire. He died by being crucified by the

Romans. People say that he was crucified upside down. The reason for this is because he

insisted not to be killed the same way as his lord! The

many people today would drop whatever they had and we're doing to follow someone who

asked them to.

From an arrogant, cocky, man of thunder, he became a humble, willing, obedient

servant of the Lord even to death. He rejoiced in his death because he knew that he was

going to be reunited with Jesus again. Peter appears throughout the Gospels as a leader

and the spokesman of the disciples, and Jesus most often addressed him when speaking

to them. He was the spokesman for the good and the bad no matter what. He was truly a

leader and knew what to do when Jesus asked him to. Like I said Peter did whatever

Jesus asked him to without even thinking about it.

So in conclusion the reason I picked St. Peter is for I could learn all of the things I

learned about him while I was writing this paper. St.Peter is one of the most important

apostles and has shaped this world. Without him I don't know where some of us would be.

Like I said he is truly a leader and a spokesman of the apostles. The thing I liked most

about him is the way he was crucified, I like how he didn't want to be killed the same way

as his lord

Saint Christopher's birth place and birth date is still unknown but most people believe he was born in Canaan and his feast day is the 25th of July. Saint Christopher died in Asia Minor c.251. Saint Christopher is a saint because he was a ferryman carrying people across the river and one day a small boy came and he asked saint Christopher to please carry him across the river and when he was carrying the boy saint Christopher noticed that the boy was so heavy but didn't know the boy was our savior Jesus Christ and yet he still willed himself to do it and that's how he became a saint. The struggle that the saint had was trying to carry Jesus across the river because he weighed so much and he couldn't do it but he willed himself to do it and he accomplished his struggle. I choose this saint because if he has the will power to do what he did I am hoping that he can give me the will power to complete any task or struggle that I face in my life and with his guidance I can complete anything. I can relate to this saint because what he did was very brave of him and that if I was faced with caring our savior Jesus Christ across the river I would and also me and this saint share the same name. Some of the qualities this saint has that I would like to have is his strength and will power because with those two qualities anything is possible and nothing can stop you from completing…
