St. Leo University Experience
I medically retired from the United States Army in December of 2014. This action prevents me from working. After over four years in Afghanistan and a year in Iraq, I am used to being busy every day and worried about how I could use me time in an effective way without becoming an alcoholic or something worse. My decision was to attend a university and be the first one in my immediate family to receive a degree. I have not been to school, (other than military schools) for 34 years. I learned from friends and colleagues to attend a school who has proven track record and utilizes advanced technology for their classes and web site.
In my decision making process I decided to attend Saint Leo’s University due to a few factors: They have a remote campus five minutes from my residence, they are military friendly and utilize a lot of technology for their online classes.
