I can see in ten to fifteen years that the automatic machines will partake in the welding industry and will limit the amount of jobs that human welding take place in. There are big companies that are creating small systems that help keep the machines running. Even though all of the technology that we have is ridiculous humans will always have to be right there with it.
These companies help form these robotic systems to help have more accurate welds. They are constantly working to make these machines better. I don't necessarily think that the humans will not lose all of their jobs. With all of these machines they will need humans to help control them to make sure they are not making the wrong move.
