4th Quarter [Oct. 2010 – Dec. 2010]

We are recommending five (5) stocks for immediate purchase to implement a portfolio sector and issue shift in equities that emphasizes the undervalued nature of some segments of the Chinese market as well as an oversold situation that has overly discounted short term corporate negatives. In addition, we are the beneficiaries of some highly regarded private research, that our clients have successfully relied upon in the past, to identify terrific opportunities in emerging industries and technologies; all poised for big quick moves once these fundamental realities become evident to main stream investors. From these recommendations, our clients will have great opportunities for massive gains over the next 6 months to 2 years. These 5 stock picks are now must own positions that will move higher regardless of overall market sentiment.

4th Quarter [Oct. 2010 – Dec. 2010]

Our first recommendation is British Petroleum (NYSE: BP) www.bp.com Last Trade: 52wk Range: Market Cap: 41.52 26.75 - 62.38 130.04B

The likelihood of an overreaction to the spill coupled with the company's considerable resources, BP's stock is looking like a Buy. The stock was meaningfully undervalued when other analysis started recommending a buy 4 months ago. Now it is roughly a third below that already-discounted level. Certainly there are real costs to the spill and so logically BP should be worth less today. However, we don't believe that the eventual cost (particularly when you discount it due to the period of time over which the costs will be realized and account for potential tax credits) will be nearly the $60-some billion implied by the stock's discount. Of course we can also look at how BP is trading

Before it was capped, the well 5000 feet (1500 meters) below the sea surface leaked at least 200 million gallons of oil. (Some estimates are far larger.) One tactic BP used was to spray hundreds of thousands of gallons of DISPERSANTS into the gushing clouds of oil and onto surface of the ocean. Dispersants are a mixture of organic solvents and detergents which enable the oil to mix into the water. While this largely succeeded in getting the oil “out of sight, out of mind” by diluting it into a much larger volume of water below the surface, and helped increase of speed of chemical and bacterial breakdown of the oil somewhat, much of the oil is still there, just spread out more, and the dispersants themselves are also quite toxic. The full environmental damage of this spill and its “cleanup” will take years to…

The sphinx is a mythological creature portrayed as a feline with the head of a human. Its figure can vary. Some depict the beast with eagle’s wings and sometimes a serpent headed tail. Its image was adapted in both ancient Egypt and Greece. In Europe it was enjoyed as a major revival during the renaissance, a decorative piece of art. Its image, very similar to the original was later exported to many other cultures.…

BP dedicated a portion of its restoration website to highlight technological advancements it has implemented for safer oil drilling, in hope of restoring public trust in the company. This portion of the website, titled “Safer drilling”, explains what went wrong during the oil spill and the lessons BP has learned from the spill. One of the documents provided goes in-depth into the analysis of all the problems that occurred during the spill. An easy to understand graphic explains the eight different well integrity issues that caused the spill, and then explains how BP has changed its standard operations in response to these failings. The rest of document is broken into sub-sections that relate to each of these issues. For example, a section on oil spill containment is presented, which outlines the mobile “BP Global Deepwater Well Cap and Tooling Package” that BP created encase of other oil spill. The package can be deployed anywhere in the world within hours and provides all the necessary tools for capping a deep-water oil rig, and cleaning any oil spilled. Analyzing the chain of events, some of the lessons from the failure become very apparent including the facts that BP and Transocean risk management plans were inadequate, BP was not prepared for the accident (or any accident for the most part), project management mistakes were made during drilling of the well, communication blunders were made by BP executives following the accident, the impact on the environment and stakeholders were underestimated, and the future of a company can be at risk from a critical failure of this magnitude. The oil spill disaster in the gulf took a huge toll on the price of fuel in the United States. Most people felt that seeing gas prices steadily increase was a way for oil companies to make huge profits, and though gas companies did make large profits, the situation at hand was more serious than ever imagined. Initially, no one truly understood the significance of the spill and how much oil was actually leaking into the gulf; however finding out the large amount of oil being lost made me realize the severity of the situation. I don’t think it was all about making money, but rather BP not being proactive to handle a situation that they knew had the…
