Speed Control
Abstract: We know the value of the lives and it has to be preserved until the best by themselves. But, unfortunately many of the people doesn’t understand the value of the lives and do some harm to themselves and also to other. One of those kinds is ROAD ACCIDENTS. These road accidents mainly occur due to the over-speed of the vehicles, mostly by the youngsters. To prevent these road accidents I’m proposing a system that could reduce rate of accidents drastically. The main advantage of this system is that the vehicle’s speed will controlled as described by respective department using Bluetooth. This is more useful at highways where the speed of every vehicle is found very high.
Introduction:
My proposal is that every vehicle will to be installed with a speed control device confined with a Bluetooth and will be given I.P. address to the Bluetooth as per their registration. And Bluetooth will be installed at every speed-limit board and will have individual I.P. address described by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). Bluetooth will be programmed with the speed limit as prescribed in the speed-limit board. Then this Bluetooth will interact with the Bluetooth in vehicle and will order it to control the speed using the speed control device. Then the Bluetooth device will control the speed of the vehicle.
Why We Need Speed Control: The reason we need speed control is that many of us drives our vehicle at the fast pace. This leads to road accidents which cost the value of many of the lives. To avoid this we go for speed control.
Why We Need Automatic Speed Control: The previously invented speed controls has some disadvantages such as, * They will be operated depending upon the number of times the brake is applied to the vehicle. * There is a chance of disconnecting those systems by the user. * They are fully controlled by the users. * They activate only on driver’s wish. * No external body controls the device. * The speed

    The Dangers of Speeding

I will never ever speed again. Speeding cost way too much time and aggravation to continue speeding. This ticket has made me realize that all speeding does is put me and other people in danger and waste a lot of gas. And in these economic times wasting gas isn’t the best idea. I am unemployed and I’ve been trying to get a job to pay for this ticket so my parents wouldn’t have to. This is good because now I know that speeding is just wrong. I can drive 45 in a 45 and some one could be doing 60 and catch a red light and I’ll be there right next to him, sure he got there faster but I didn’t waste five dollars in gas just to catch a red light. Statistics show that if the speed limit is 65 and you go 75 it will get you to your destination 10 minutes faster but you also increase your risk of accident by 25%. Honestly I don’t want to risk an accident over 10 minutes of time. It’s pointless.…

Driverless cars are very efficient. When more than driverless cars on the road they use their 3D brain to signal the other cars and “will not suddenly stop, so the gaps between can be shorted” said Tony Borroz. “Intelligent roadways will allow the timing of traffic density and speed.” Some may say that cars controlled by a human is safer because they would have complete control over their own safety, but at the same time humans get into an over one million crashed a…

Since the demand for owning an automobile has extremely increased throughout the years, so has minor and fatal car crashes in the US. Speeding is a factor in 31 percent of all fatal crashes, killing an average of 1,000 Americans every month, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The need for speed limits has grown as well to help decrease the amount of accidents on our highways and streets. It is proven though studies that the drivers are better equipped to stop on demand when driving the speed limit. For example, at 20 mph it takes 46 feet to come to a stop. At 30 mph the stopping distance nearly doubles to 87 feet. At 40 mph the stopping distance more than triples to 140 feet in perfect weather conditions. Studies has shown that speeding in dangerous weather conditions can result in a 53 percent of fatal crashes that occurred when there was snow or slush on the road and in a 60 percent of those that happened in icy roads. In short, a speed limit are set to improve safety on our roads and reduces the frequency and severity of road crashes and reduces possible variations in speed, which increase the number of road crashes.…

With these numbers rapidly growing each year, more states are deciding to take legal action by banning the use of cell phones while driving.
