I. Introduction
The State of the Nation Address (SONA; Filipino: Talumpatî sa Kalagayan ng Bansà) is an annual address by the President of the Republic of the Philippines to a joint session of the Congress of the Philippines. It is mandated by the 1987 Constitution, and must be delivered every fourth Monday of July at the Plenary Hall of the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Batasan Hills, Quezon City, Metro Manila.
II. Content
The Philippines have the highest GDP growth under Aquino administration with 7.8%. The employment rate reached 92.5% as of the 2nd quarter of 2013 and employed Filipinos rose to approximately 37.94 million as of January 2013. The investment grade became BBB- from BB+ rating given by International Credit rating finance.
