How do masculine customs differ in the United States by social status?

Let us begin by looking at social status. What is a social status? Social Status is a person's place, standing or importance in regards to other people within a society. Social status was created by people to categorize wealth and instil superiority. Economic status or social status categories vary from country to country, and in some countries social categories may not even exist. As Entwisle, D. R., Alexander, K. L., & Olson, L. S. said in "Early schooling: The handicap of being poor and male", (2007) boys receiving meal subsidies had a difficult time in elementary dealing with attitude towards learning due to the lack of parent oversight. From the very beginning boys that come from a poor or low income family tend to have behavior problems later resulting in inappropriate conduct as adults. A poor adult may be homeless because they lack a skill are unable to work and sustain themselves or are unemployed because they find difficulty in sticking with a job. The land of opportunity and the American dream's economic status is very important to many.

For a rich male it probable to lose a lot of ethical behavior. A rich male may believe he is superior to the rest because of his education. Some rich males may have been born rich and have gained no morals because of their lifestyle. Many rich males may easily become addicts because of their free time. The rich male may believe he makes the rules because of the way they were raised. Without a doubt males economic standpoint definitely plays a big role in their attitudes and beliefs. I encourage everyone to try to break these barriers that society has thrown on us and make a difference on this earth after all rich or not we all continue to be human

    Throughout my life I haven’t see or feel the differences between social classes. Yes there are privileged people and under privileged people and I had friends in both. I can see that there are differences between social classes but I do not personally believe in them. What I noticed here in America so far is that you can see a big difference in social classes especially after their young adult life. In high school the differences between social classes do not reveal themselves as much as they do in live after school. In high school a lot of people interacts with from different or similar social classes. In college you can see that people start to separate themselves more. People usually make friends from the same social class. Perfect examples of this are fraternities. You can see the difference between social classes throughout those fraternities. There are fraternities only for the privileged and the elite and you have fraternities for the middle class people. And this will continue throughout life many people will look for their social class. Whether or not they belong there or whether they want to belong there in that specific social class. I would say I’m a part of a higher social class both my families are sharing a in interest in wealth but to my opinion I do not prefer to say I’m in that certain social class. I do not like to be different than any one else and I do not think one family or another is better then somebody else. A major part of my family thinks the same about this I believe.
