The researchers believes that an investigation of the preferences of the IT students on the computer radiation to the effects of the radiation to their health are very alarming. It is, therefore, hoped that the results of this study would not only beneficial to the students but also to the computer gamers, call center agents, parents and other computer based works.

To the computer gamers call center agents and other computer based works, the result of the investigation would serve as a warning about their health.

To the parents, this will serve as a guideline of how many hours should their sons and daughters uses computers to avoid illness.

efinition of Terms

For the purposes of clarification, the following terms are operationally defined as they are used in this study:

Myriad - Constituting a very large, indefinite number; innumerable: the myriad fish in the ocean.
Integral - necessary to make a whole complete; essential or fundamental: games are an integral part of the school's curriculum.
Inevitable - certain to happen; unavoidable: war was inevitable.

Every people knows about the computer, and most of the people in the world knows how to use basic computer functions such as mouse and keyboards. If an individual is able to play games as a professional, he is called a computer gamer. He plays computer games like no other, means that he is so professional even if the computer program cant copy or make his pro play. But beyond of this, he is badly prone of computer radiation. The person usually looks and feels healthy for a short time, after which he or she will become sick again with loss of appetite, fatigue, difficulty in breathing, general weakness, paleness, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and possibly even seizures and coma.
