Recent incident in Florida where Miami Police Antonio Torres shot and killed a homeless man who may have been armed with metal pipe at Gibson Park located in Overtown. Witness say that the man, who they claim is homeless, was holding metal pipe did not deserve to die because the officer could tased instead of shooting.

    This is one of the cases where a white police officer gets away with murder and gets an easy punishment. In the case of Christian Taylor shooting, a 19 year old African American male was shot because a police officer assumed that this male had a gun because there was a bulge in his pocket. After Christian was shot they found out that the bulge was his wallet. This is an act of racial profiling because he acted upon his assumptions that he had a gun because he was black.
