Social entrepreneurship means identifying or recognizing a social problem and using entrepreneurial principles to organize, create, and manage a social venture to achieve a desired social change.
Business entrepreneurs typically measure performance in profit and return, but social entrepreneurs also take into account a positive return to society. Social entrepreneurship typically furthers broad social, cultural, and environmental goals and is commonly associated with the voluntary and not-for-profit sectors Profit can at times also be a consideration for certain companies or other enterprises.
Social entrepreneurship practised in a world or international context is called international social entrepreneurship

A Social enterpreneur who has changed the face of health services in Nepal. Has broken the tradition way of healthcare in the country which was going to a hospital or a clinic. He provides health servies at the doorsteps. Established an organization called Health at home 2 years ago to provide good health services to the people in need.
*Family relation ….patient with kindey and multiple organ failure. This became an inspiration for him to establish an organization which would help to provide efficient health care services to the people.

Why Health at Home?-- Healthcare has always been victim of manipulations by the beholders of the institutions and industry. As people are not made aware of industrial and business value of healthcare. Now in this age of rapid transformation and fast communication healthcare has taken its real shape as one individual influence happens to be less effective. The Healthcare industry of 21 century is exciting universal and professional business model which has to be socially responsible.
*Services provided to all aged people.
Nursing care can be given comfortably to individuals and not holisticaly.
Patients cannot tell their problems easily at hospitals.
