Foreword

In this assignment, I am going to explore the reasons both social and personal as to why a social care worker would find it challenging to work with a person with both mental disabilities. I am going to reflect on parts of my life where I worked with people with mental disabilities, so that I am able to realise the probable impact my experiences will have when I go to work as an adventure therapist in an outdoor working environment. I will use what I have learnt throughout the year in class and my notes on Moodle. I will also use references to different websites and authors to back up my points of information.
