Snow Leaving Descriptive Writing
“Shut-up you idiot! Why the hell am I still with you Ben?” Snow barked, her voice pierces through the air. I left my girlfriend and headed for the car without a word, the echo of each step I make towards the doors that lead outside resonate inside my head as if the sound was mocking my emptiness. Even as I closed the door, she could still be heard swearing and throwing mess around. I’m sick of fighting with her every second of the day, but the thought of Snow leaving, well it just tears me in two. “Where did we go wrong?” I chuckle to myself, staring into the eyes of my reflection. Even after the fights we’ve had, I always have a hard time not being around her, stealing a glimpse of our home, I drive off. Everyone has their edges and rough times in their life, but they still break through, what will happen to us?

The park bursts into life as the wind compels the overcast to migrate, opening a path for the light to flow through. Reaching for my phone, buzzing like it’s full of joy, but finding her face I hesitate. My chest begins to burn, cringing in pain I struggle to hold emotion from showing, my heart screams for comfort and my mind beckons for help. The pain killing me from the inside, I feel disgusted with myself, shamed about how selfish I’m being. Racing to the car I hold back my tears, it feels as if my head will explode any moment. I feel it coming, my eyes are hurting, hands trembling, trying to unlock my car before I fall apart for someone to see, slamming the door behind me and narrowly missing my foot. A fever falls upon me and all my emotions collide with each other, I burst into tears as my head drops into my arm. Unable to fight the urge to sleep, I give in, falling into darkness, too weak to worry about anything right
