The shoes I will be going over are from three different brands, one is Nike which is the most popular brand out there for the consumer at this time. Next I will go into adidas which was once known for running but has since gone into all types of styles and purpose. Last I will tell you about Reebok which was well known for their basketball shoe the pump .I will be going into detail about the different prices and styles, and the purpose of the shoes.
The Nike brand is what I will begin with it has several different shoe styles that serve different purposes. One of the popular cross trainers are the Nike Air Max. This style is used primarily for weight training, outside drills, and running. Athletes are able to use them for indoor and outdoor training. From the statistics gathered from the research group and the surveys, we have concluded that Nike is the best brand and the Reebok is considered to be the worse brand. For the consumers, it was not the feel or the style of the shoe that was the reasoning for the dislike in the product, it was the lack of promotions and the lack of competition it gave the marketing giant known as Nike. Many felt that they never knew when new Reebok products were being released and they were not excited about the Reebok brand compared to the Nike brand. The leading cause of Reebok’s recent tumbles stemmed from problems relating to poor marketing. Reebok’s shortcoming in the area of marketing is their key weakness.
